We came across these on the deep playa on the last night. From far, far away, we saw these two animated kangaroos jumping across the playa (sorry, no way to capture the movement without video), and every time they bounded they went "BOING." It was quite dark, and at first we couldn't figure out how they were moving: they were obviously separate from each other, but were they elwire on costumes or something else? Twist and I raced across the desert to catch them, and when we succeeded we learned they were panels being pulled by bicycles, and the bicycles were accompanied by two cupcakes! In fact, all four people were cupcakes in the day, but these two cyclists were moonlighting as kangaroos.
