Each morning, as we sat around discussing what we planned to do that day, the kids would all remind us that we had to play Aquarius again that night. When we left, we had to pry their fingers from the box to get the game back. My significant other, Russ, has a son who is very hard to entertain. An example of daily life with this child... "Well, you're bored. What would you like to do?" "Practically nothing." Now the answer is, "Play Aquarius!!" He's eleven, and for the first time in three years he's shown an interest in something! Of course, most of our adult friends are just as hooked. To think, I spent my last ten dollars of 'con' money (Origins) to get this game... To win, you simply need to do whatever the goal says. Most of the time, the goal requires you to have a couple of particular Keepers on the table in front of you. As soon as any player achieves the current goal, that player wins!</html:li><html:li>New Rules - This is where the fun really starts. When the game begins, the only rules are that you draw 1 card per turn and play 1 card per turn. But when you play a New Rule, these rules are either changed or added to. New Rules change the number of cards drawn and played per turn as well as the number of cards you are allowed to hold in your hand, the number of Keepers you can have, bonuses for players who have particular Keepers, and more.</html:li><html:li>Actions - These are 1 time use cards that let you do fun stuff like stealing someone else's Keeper, getting rid of a rule you don't like, drawing more cards, and so on.</html:li></html:ol></summaryText></summary>

Lightweight and compact, Proton is the perfect go-anywhere board game. You can take it to the movies, the airport, or the great outdoors, and never lose any of the game pieces. Most games of Proton take about 5 minutes, so you can play it while standing in line or waiting for food in a restaurant.       <summary><summaryTitle>Summary:</summaryTitle><summaryText>Q-Turn is a fast and unpredictable little game played on a dynamic board made up of 16 wooden nickels. The game is packaged very efficiently, in a small clear plastic tube, along with a rules sheet and four small flat tokens. Q-Turn is thus highly portable, and can be played on any flat surface, from the lunch counter to an airline tray table. The game is played by randomizing the disks and placing them face down on the table in a 4x4 pattern. Tokens are placed at the corners, with the goal being to move your token to the opposite corner and back again before your opponents. As the tokens move across the board, disks are flipped over, revealing arrows that indicate which way a token may move next. Each type of disk allows a different special action, rotating one or all of the disks a quarter turn, thus changing the available paths across the board. A quarter-turn here, and a quarter-turn there, and soon everyone may be headed off in the wrong direction!</summaryText></summary>
