SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MULTIPLE IMAGES

Glimmer and Sunshine of Playatech and their piece Fire in the Belly. We met these friendly folks at a Leopard Martini Lounge Party on Monday night, and hung out with them periodically throughout the week … including riding around on their plywood art car (in true Playatech fashion), which sported a platform and pole for dancing on the back. Sunshine is a Harvard MBA and Glimmer is a mom, pole dancer, fire spinner, fabulous seamstress, cook (thanks for breakfast!) and all around wonder-woman. This sculpture, their first playa art piece, commemorated Glimmer's miscarriage. The adjunct buildings represented two possible outcomes: "Welcome Home Baby" and "Los Angeles Medical Center" (miscarriage). The piece burned on Sunday night (you can jump all the way to Slide 162).

Where are these photos from?: These are photos I (mostly) took at Burning Man 2006, in the Black Rock Desert, NV.
